It is without questions that agriculture is one of Canada's most hazardous industries. Nearly 43% of agricultural workers have reported direct hits or near misses with power lines (Where's the Line, 2020).

Locating underground power lines is absolutely essential to preventing what could be fatal incidents.

In the past year, there have been 131 incidents of farm equipment contacting power lines in Alberta. Farm equipment is larger than ever and it’s easy to get distracted. Contact with a power line can kill you – but it’s entirely preventable.
